A Dynamic Professional and self-made man Dr. Pierson Rathinaraj initiate a small academy with innovation concepts by the name Joel Academy with a moral objective of transforming the dreams of the students at High School/Graduate courses into reality. The commitment and dedication towards the cause of professional education and the student’s holistic development became the fundamental basis and cause of developmental growth of Joel Academy in Hamilton -New Zealand.

Joel Academy is unique in identifying students’ interest by coining prior skills. Every session starts with an anticipation guide in which the students are asked to reflect upon the contents of their regular learnings. This technique can be enhanced by providing hands-on practice opportunities. Periodic assessments can indicate the student’s progress for professional results.

NCEA/ IB Coaching

Joel academy is pleased to offer NCEA coaching Programs for High School students inside the Waikato region. The program is aimed at high school students interested in pursuing an overall professional development close to academic background and looking to improve their professional skills while gaining hands-on design thinking experience.

Purpose

The coaching provides the students with a unique opportunity to work on a problem-solving session in Chemistry/Physics & Maths and learn the skills of achievers under the supervision of a Ph.D. qualified overseer. The students will learn skills in project planning, analysis, and reporting. The students will then work on their assignments, do the analysis, write a comprehensive report, and finally do a formal examination to ensure their success in collaborating with Joel Academy.

Approach

The objective approach is to assists high school students to face balanced Research-based learning with their academics. Joel Academy can provide overall training to enhance the overall developments in science and research skills and prepare the students to equip with the skills that the global market demand. The model covers overall human resource development by implementing a design thinking project of problem-solving with concept-based communication enhancements. A team of qualified professionals and human resource experts within the team hold vast experience in delivering project-based training over a decade and achieved excellent results in project delivery.

Our People

Dr. Pierson Rathinaraj is the visionary founder of Joel academy who always has a passion for teaching. He holds double master’s (India) and a doctorate qualification (South Korea) in Chemistry along with six years of bio-medical post-doctoral research across the globe. Dr. Rathinaraj also holds nine years of teaching experience in International Schools and colleges. With his academic and research experience, he holds unique integrated project-based learning to the students to achieve their targets both Nationally and Internationally. He has developed a curriculum based on project learning and international research internships for career placements with innovative academic publications.
